Delta 10 THC 101
Delta-10-tetrahydrocannabinol (Delta-10 THC) is a cannabinoid found in hemp, similar to Delta-9 THC and Delta-8 THC. It's a minor cannabinoid, meaning it's present in much smaller quantities compared to Delta-9 THC. In addition, it's often found in trace amounts in hemp, and some products are being developed to isolate and concentrate Delta-10 THC for other uses.
Why is it Called Delta 10?
The reason why it's called Delta 10 is because the carbon is in the 10th carbon instead of the 9th like regular THC. Therefore, the slight variation in its chemical composition produces a different experience from Delta 9 or Delta 8 products. Although Delta 10 is still Hemp-derived, it's thought to be even more mellow when compared to Delta 8.
Legality
Delta 10 THC Products are in the same Hemp category as Delta 9 and Delta 8. Although it has a slight variation, as long as the Delta 10 product has less than 0.3% of Delta 9 - it's legal wherever Delta 8 is legal.
